UX Intern Job Responsibilities

• Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and implement design systems for consistency and scalability.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and analytics reviews to improve interfaces.
• Assist in brainstorming and implementing UX solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
• Work with marketing, UI/development teams, and senior designers to align design work with business and branding objectives.
• Attend cross-departmental meetings to gain insights into strategic UX processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with Figma, Squarespace, and other UX tools.
• Stay informed about the latest UX trends and techniques to integrate into projects.

Requirements

Education:

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Skills & Experience:

• Basic proficiency in design tools like Figma.
• Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge is a plus).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning about user-centered design processes and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• A portfolio or samples of design work (academic projects, personal projects, or past internships) is preferred but not required.
