JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work safely in wet conditions, utilizing high-pressure rinse guns and chemical application on equipment in all areas throughout the plant.
• Ability to work without direct supervision at a precise and steady pace, meeting established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Possess the mechanical aptitude needed for disassembly and assembly of pumps, product lines, and other processing equipment.
• Employee equipment cleaning performance must pass QA / USDA equipment inspections.
• Individual needs to have previous experience in cleanup of production equipment or plant sanitation.
• Ability to follow established GMPs, SQF, HACCP, Sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to handle and apply various chemicals in a safe manner following safety rules and using the proper PPE.
• Must be able to operate and navigate established Process Control Systems.
• Individual needs to have basic computer skills and ability to operate the HMI’s.
• Must be able to maneuver chemical drums safely, with weights of up to 500 pounds
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, bend, twist, kneel, crawl as job demands
• Possess high personal standards of sanitation and the ability to work under these conditions.
• Ability to work overtime as well as respond to a call to return to work on short notice.
• Must be able to work on all shifts and work in other departments as needed.
• Individual must be able to work a 4-10 hour shift which may include Saturday and/or Sunday work.
• Starting time may vary.
• Must be able to work with others as a team member.
• Employee must be able and willing to work in other areas of the plant as needed.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : From $18.08 per hour (DOE) Union Contract Rate

Schedule :

• 10 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute :

• Ripon, CA 95366: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Shift availability :

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Required)
• Overnight Shift (Required)
