Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Donor Care Technician III dedicated to making a positive difference. What to Expect


Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, Five days a week, variable hours between the hours of 6am-8pm based on business needs, Every other weekend required.

Base Pay:

$19.80 - $20.63 / Hour

Start Date: May 11, 2026

Training Information:

Training for this role lasts approximately 12 weeks and is based out of our Greentree location .

• Weeks 1-2: Classroom and hands-on training with a trainer, including travel to various Donation Centers and mobile sites.
  
• Weeks 3-4: Field experience alongside a preceptor on mobile drives and at site locations.
  
• Weeks 5-12: Continued training in specific skilled areas could include Phlebotomy , Medical Interview , Alyx , and Trima (approximately 4 weeks per area).
  
• After successfully completing training and final assessments at Greentree, team members may continue to travel to various fixed and mobile site locations as part of their regular schedule

As a Donor Care Tech III, you'll get to:

• Perform donor interviews and appropriately determine donation eligibility.
  
  
• Participate in donor rebooking activities.
  
  
• Perform whole blood, double red cell, platelet and plasma phlebotomy of donors in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
  
  
• Works as part of a team to achieve daily team production goal. Assists and supports other team members, as required on both Mobile and Fixed Sites.
