Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a food manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH area!

Responsibilities:

• Direct all HR activities for a facility with over 250 employees, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and manufacturing production schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns; champion a proactive, non-union workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Manage and ensure the accuracy of complex, high-volume payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts to maintain optimal staffing levels for production lines, including onboarding and retention strategies.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with federal and state labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and support workplace safety initiatives in coordination with the EHS department.
• Coach and develop front-line supervisors and department heads on performance tracking, disciplinary actions, and leadership development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Food manufacturing environment highly preferred
• Proven ability to manage HR functions of large plant setting
• Extensive experience of managing in a non-union environment
• Experience managing complex pay roll systems (experience with ADP preferred)
