Position Title:Graphic DesignIntern

Department:Marketing -Communications

Pay Grade:$15 per hour

Immediate Supervisor:Josh Planos, BBB VP ofMarketing,Communications & PR

Hours:Full-Time (40 Hours), 8:00 AM 5:00 PM,Tuesday-Thursday in the Omaha office

We are looking for motivated, creative students withstrong communicationandcreativeskills and an interest in gaining professional knowledge and experience.

All BBB interns receive one-on-one mentorship, intern- specificprogrammingand a meaningful work experience. Students willassistwithdesign -related tasks, includingcreativeprojects, social media content and strategy,internal and external programming,and public relations outreach efforts.

Students may work up to40 hoursper week for10-12weekson a flexibleschedule; interns are encouraged to workno fewer than10 weeks. Responsibilities will be adjusted according tointernstime commitment to BBB and interest in aspects of the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Design visual assets for marketing and sales campaigns social media graphics, event materials, digitaladsand internal communications.
  • SupportBBB creative project efforts.
  • Manage the graphic design project queue: track requests, settimelinesand coordinate with teammates to keep projects moving.
  • Develop creative content for BBBs social media channels under the direction of the marketing team.
  • Assistwith the coordination and development of marketingcampaigns to build awareness and/or meet campaign goals.
  • Assist with BBB events and programming efforts as needed.
  • Providemonthly insights,ideasand key findings fromcreativeprojects.
  • Understand and adhere to all BBB policies,lawsand regulations applicable to role.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently taking classes toward aBachelors degree ingraphic design,marketing, communications, journalism,advertisingor related field.
  • Proficiencyin Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or creative tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to commute to BBBs Omaha office.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects.
