At Avon Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership, were different and just getting started! As we continue to grow, were looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team and drive continued success. This is a unique opportunity to work along side the new owners of the dealership and grow as we grow!

Position Summary:
The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales department. This includes managing a team of sales professionals, developing effective sales strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting or exceeding dealership sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team
• Take TOs (turnovers) to assist sales consultants in closing deals and improving conversion rates
• Ensure CRM tasks are completed in a timely and effective
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to meet dealership objectives
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations for sales staff

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Previous experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram brands is a strong plus
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Strong understanding of CRM systems and dealership software (e.g., Tekion, Dealertrack, VinSolutions)
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
