Job Title: Vice President of Finance Location: San Francisco / Bay Area, CA (Hybrid/Onsite Preferred) Overview: We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Vice President of Finance to lead and scale our financial operations across the San Francisco / Bay Area. This role will own the integrity of financial reporting, ensure SOX compliance, and oversee complex revenue recognition processes, while partnering closely with executive leadership to support continued growth. The ideal candidate brings deep NetSuite expertise, strong technical accounting knowledge, and experience operating in a high‑growth, audit‑ready environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead all core finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, and strategic planning Act as a key financial partner to the CEO and executive team across the Bay Area organization Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including contract review, multi‑element arrangements, and system configuration Ensure full SOX compliance, including design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of internal controls (ICFR) Partner with external auditors to manage annual audits, SOX testing, and technical accounting memos Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, specifically optimizing NetSuite (including ARM, SuiteBilling, and reporting capabilities) Establish and refine accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to support scalability and compliance Lead cash flow forecasting, treasury management, and capital allocation Support fundraising, investor reporting, board presentations, and due diligence efforts Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing finance and accounting team, primarily based in the Bay Area Qualifications: 10–15+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with 3–5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP level) Strong hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP (required), including advanced modules such as ARM (Advanced Revenue Management) Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition and technical accounting Proven experience with SOX compliance (public company or pre‑IPO environment strongly preferred) Experience operating in high‑growth companies within the San Francisco / Bay Area ecosystem (SaaS, tech, or PE/VC‑backed preferred) Strong experience managing audits and working with external auditors and advisors Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, systems, and teams Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred; Big 4 background is a plus) #J-18808-Ljbffr
