Job Description

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and proactive individual to join our team as a VenU LMS Administrator. The VenU LMS Administrator will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our organization’s VenU learning management system. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional online learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Administration:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the VenU learning management system, overseeing user management, system configurations, and permissions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues, collaborating with VenU support teams as needed to ensure seamless operation.
  • Implement system updates, patches, and enhancements to maintain optimal functionality and security.

2. Content Management:

  • Manage the organization’s digital learning content within the VenU LMS, including course creation, uploading resources, and organizing content libraries.
  • Work closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure that course materials are engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Implement metadata tagging and categorization strategies to enhance content discoverability and user navigation.

3. User Support and Training:

  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding users on how to navigate the VenU LMS effectively.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and resources to onboard new users and empower existing users to leverage the full capabilities of the VenU platform.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training materials tailored to different user roles and skill levels.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize reporting tools within the VenU LMS to generate insights and analytics on user engagement, course completion rates, and other performance metrics.
  • Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for improving the user experience, optimizing content delivery, and enhancing learning outcomes.
  • Prepare and present reports to management and key stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • 5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing online learning, such as data privacy laws and accessibility requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on course content, user interactions, and system functionality to uphold high standards of quality and usability.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in educational technology to proactively enhance the VenU LMS and adapt to changing needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience administering a learning management system, preferably VenU or a similar platform.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in system administration, HTML/CSS, and SCORM standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with users and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory is a plus.
  • VenU LMS certification or relevant training is highly desirable.
