DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible for maintaining security within the Hospital and hospital grounds. Will assist with controlling unruly patients. Protects life and property of all persons on hospital premises. Polices hospital building and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
High School diploma or equivalent.
Hospital security experience preferred.
Active or retired officers of a police department or corrections facility preferred.
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
FOID card required.
Taser certification to be completed within 30 days of hire.
Personal
Must be at least eighteen years of age.
Ability to read and write English.
Must possess current, valid State of Illinois Driver's License.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
