Job Title: Security Guard - Airport Operations

Position Summary:
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel, cargo, equipment, and facilities on airport grounds. This role ensures compliance with TSA regulations, airport policies, and company procedures while monitoring restricted areas and responding to security incidents.


Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to secured airport and cargo areas
• Verify employee and visitor credentials, badges, and documentation
• Conduct routine patrols of warehouse, ramp, and perimeter areas
• Inspect cargo, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting restricted zones
• Enforce TSA, airport authority, and company security regulations
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
• Prepare detailed daily logs and incident reports
• Coordinate with airport authorities and law enforcement when required
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous security or airport experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance/badging
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
