Restaurant and Bar Manager Coyote Café – Hamburg, NY Full-time | On-site About the Role Coyote Café is looking for a motivated and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead our operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This position requires a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about food, drinks, and people. As the Restaurant and Bar Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage and train staff, ensure top-quality service, and implement strategies to grow sales across all departments — with a focus on the bar, banquet, catering, and takeout. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure excellence in service and efficiency Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team with strong morale and teamwork Develop staff schedules and monitor labor costs Maintain food and beverage quality, safety, and cleanliness standards Respond to customer feedback and resolve complaints quickly and professionally Implement and track marketing initiatives to increase sales and brand awareness Control inventory, manage ordering, and minimize waste Meet or exceed financial targets through cost control and revenue generation Collaborate with ownership to plan promotions, menu updates, and special events Keep a cleaning schedule and maintain an organized operation Qualifications 2+ years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Bar Manager Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills Knowledge of food & beverage operations, inventory, and cost control Experience in training and developing staff Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Why Join Coyote Café We’re a locally loved restaurant and bar in Hamburg, NY — known for our welcoming atmosphere, great food, and energetic vibe.
