• Georgia Professional RN license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Ability to obtain PHN (Public Health Nurse) Certification within ONE year of hire
• 1+ year of experience as an RN

Job Description: 
The North Georgia Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse to support its  HIV Clinic (Living Bridge Center)in Gainesville. This role functions similarly to an ambulatory private practice environment and includes expanded nursing responsibilities. The RN will provide triage support for Nurse Practitioners, assist with clinical assessments, and deliver direct patient care. The position also includes case management duties, patient education, and ongoing interaction with a dedicated patient panel. RNs may also support STI testing, vaccinations, and referrals as needed.

Day-To-Day:

• Triage patients for Nurse Practitioners, including vitals, medical history, and patient preparation.
• Provide direct clinical support by administering shots, vaccines, and assisting with STI testing.
• Complete referrals and follow-up tasks after NP visits when needed.
• Manage a personal caseload of patients, offering case management and routine check-ins.
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow established nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
