Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Norwalk, is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join their 3rd Shift. In this entry level role, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator-3rd

Location: Norwalk, OH

Pay Range: 20/hour

Shift: Night Shift (7:00PM - 5:30AM); train on 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Perform weigh-up or packaging duties within the production department to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Obtain and verify correct documentation and ingredients for batch processing, ensuring adherence to recipes and specifications.
• Set up and operate weigh-up and packaging machinery, checking controls for safety and proper functioning.
• Process batches safely and neatly, including off-screen cut-up, packaging, and skid material preparation according to customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, support machine cleaning, and follow all safety and housekeeping standards.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Forklift Experience
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to train on 1st shift
