Job Description

Title: Project Manager, Global Medical Affairs Oncology

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) in Raritan, NJ

Length: 12-month contract

Position Summary

The Project Manager (PM) will support the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Oncology team, specifically focusing on strategy and execution for two approved multiple myeloma therapies: Tecvayli and Talvey . Reporting into the Head of Strategy Execution for Multiple Myeloma, this role is critical in coordinating across five global regions (Asia Pacific, Canada, US, Latam, and EMEA) to ensure the successful execution of medical affairs frameworks and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting Coordination & Facilitation: Lead and support key global medical affairs forums, including WP Patz , regional one-on-ones, W Mass (strategic regional lead meetings), and WISE trainings (Worldwide Information Side of Exchange).
  • Operational Management: Manage core operational activities such as contracting , budget tracking , and maintaining organizational structures within SharePoint and MS Teams .
  • Global Review Committee (GRCA): Act as the lead for the Global Review Committee process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional teams to discuss adboard plans, emerging topics, and commercial activities, ensuring all follow-ups and action items are captured and facilitated.
  • Content & Compliance: Support the uploading of materials to various platforms and ensure all activities align with industry SOPs and compliance policies .
  • Program Support: Assist with activities related to publications, ad boards, congresses, medical insights, and medical studies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to pharmaceutical Medical Affairs , specifically in operations, execution, or strategy.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential.
  • Project Management Tools: Ability to develop and manage project charters, project plans, timelines, and presentations .
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (Master’s, PharmD, PhD) or a PMP certification are considered a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oncology experience is highly preferred.
  • Specific experience in Multiple Myeloma is a significant advantage.
  • Experience working with Global and Regional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Previous experience as a J&J employee or contractor (provided they left in good standing) is welcomed.
