Manager, Commerce Activation - Media Agency - $70,000 - $93,000 plus benefits - New York Hybrid Overview We're partnering with a leading global media and advertising organization that is looking to hire a Manager, Commerce Activation to join their growing Commerce team. This position will play a key role in delivering performance-driven retail media campaigns across search and programmatic channels, helping some of the world's biggest brands maximize growth across retail media networks. The successful candidate will combine strong retail media expertise with leadership capabilities, managing a team while driving best-in-class activation strategies across multiple commerce platforms. Responsibilities Manage and develop a team of Commerce Activation specialists Oversee search and programmatic retail media campaigns across platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, CitrusAd, and The Trade Desk Execute campaign setup, budget management, bid optimization, and performance monitoring Utilize retail media management platforms such as Pacvue, Skai, and Epsilo Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to develop and execute retail media strategies Drive testing, optimization, and performance improvement initiatives across campaigns Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting and insights Identify trends and opportunities to improve business outcomes and customer engagement Troubleshoot campaign delivery and technical activation issues Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and measurement solutions within the retail media ecosystem Support campaign operations including reconciliation, invoicing, trafficking, and data management Ideal Background 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid search, programmatic, or retail media Experience managing direct reports and supporting team development Strong understanding of retail media networks and commerce activation strategies Hands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, Target, Kroger, Criteo, Google, and Meta Experience using retail media management tools such as Pacvue or Skai Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations Understanding of retail fundamentals including forecasting, inventory management, demand planning, and profitability metrics Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Preferred Experience Experience working within: Retail Media Networks (RMNs) Commerce Media Agencies Performance Marketing Teams Search and Programmatic Activation Functions Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance bonus opportunities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plan Generous PTO package Hybrid working environment Ongoing training and career development opportunities Access to a global network of industry-leading media and marketing professionals Sphere is an equal opportunities employer.
