East Liberty Family Health Care Center (ELFHCC) is a mission‑driven, community‑focused Federally Qualified Health Center providing compassionate, high‑quality care to patients across our four Pittsburgh‑area locations. We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team and support our dentists in delivering excellent, patient‑centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x‑rays)
• Sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with pre‑ and post‑operative instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the dental EHR
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
• Support inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to ELFHCC's mission

• Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent on‑the‑job experience
  • Current PA X‑ray Certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
• Preferred:
  • 1+ year experience as a dental assistant
  • Familiarity with community health or FQHC settings
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
