ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position BAR WAITER for CRYSTAL CRUISES! BAR WAITER is responsible to deal with guests and fellow crew members in a professional courteous manner ensuring that a six star Crystal service standard is maintained at all times providing a superior guest experience and a healthy productive work environment within company guidelines. Conditions Work in top level, 5* cruise company, luxury segment Medical insurance provided during contract Flight paid to ship and to a home address after completed contract Free food and accommodation Free uniform Joining expenses: reimbursed upon completion of first contract. STCW: reimbursed upon commencement of second contract. Contract length 5-6 months with following 2 months of vacation. Responsibilities To greet Guests in a professional manner and to provide them with prompt, courteous and friendly food and beverage service in public rooms, lounges, open decks and bars. Adhere to company policies, procedures, manuals, directives and appearance standards at all times. To prepare garnishes and other mise en place for their assigned bar. Bar waiter must have a comprehensive knowledge of the ingredients and prices of all drinks on the menu as well as the daily specials and any promotional sale for the day. Ensure proper cleaning (as per USPH / Shipboard Sanitation Program standards including logs and labeling), maintenance and storage of equipment in assigned bars, pantries and / or lockers in accordance with safety rules and regulations. Report any maintenance issues to assigned supervisor and follow up on work orders until completed. Other responsibilities as assigned, not limited to the above. Requirements Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a luxury international hotel property or two (2) years of experience in the luxury cruise industry in a bar environment (Cruise ship experience is preferred). Fluent spoken English Must have good product and beverage knowledge. Good interpersonal and public communication skills. Very good organizational skills and attention to details are required. Must possess initiative and the ability to work independently. Needs to have an outgoing personality and possess a positive attitude, maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times even under pressure utilizing an in depth understanding and knowledge of Crystal Basics Vaccination Covid-19 mandatory with WHO approved vaccines Minimum 21 years old.
