Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Collections Specialist for a temp-to-permanent full-time role in Hot Springs Village, AR with a well-rounded accounting team. This position is responsible for managing collections activity, supporting customer service needs, and maintaining accurate delinquency records in a professional, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer account follow-up and collections activity.
• Communicate with customers regarding account balances, billing questions, and payment status.
• Maintain accurate records of account activity, contacts, and payment history.
• Assist with resolving customer concerns related to billing and account discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute routine reports related to accounts and delinquency status.
• Coordinate with internal departments as needed to support account resolution.
• Process payments and make appropriate account updates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections required.
• Strong customer service and phone skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in difficult situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and experience managing data records.
• Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

They should be comfortable balancing administrative work, customer communication, and reporting responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Experience working in a team-oriented accounting environment is highly valued.
